What is happening?

WEST NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(BARBY LANE, BARBY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Barby Lane, Barby as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Barby Lane, Barby from the junction of Onley Lane to M45 bridge.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during new water connection works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 12th July 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 3 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use A428, Kilsby Road, Main Road, Kilsby Road to Ware Road.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Church Hill, Badby as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Church Hill, Badby from the junction of Brookside Lane to Bunkers Hill.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during new water connection works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 21st July 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Byfield Road, Woodford Halse as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Byfield Road, Woodford Halse from the land adjacent to 106 Byfield Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during new water connection works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 22nd July 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 3 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use A361, Charwelton Road, Woodford Road, Preston Road, Canons Ashby Road and Byfield Road.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Lime Avenue, Eydon as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Lime Avenue, Eydon from the junction of Partridge Lane to Mannings Yard.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during new water connection works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 7th July 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 3 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Hill View, High Street and School Lane.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Brington Road, Long Buckby as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Brington Road, Long Buckby from the junction of Lodge Lane to Lodge Farm.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during stop tap replacement works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 8th July 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 3 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Lodge Lane, East Street and High Street.
