What is happening?
North Yorkshire Council, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Prospect
Road, Harrogate, Order 2025, No. 221 We have made this Order to
prohibit any vehicle from using Prospect Road, Harrogate for a temporary
period (subject to access to premises) between 07/07/25 & 27/07/25, due to
Balfour Beatty installing ducting as part of the 33Kv scheme. However, the
max duration of this Order is until 05/08/25. The closure period will be
indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site

No 58, Order 2025 Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council
proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) &
35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the
1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will
be to amend “The North Yorkshire Council (Prohibition of Waiting & Loading
& Provision of Parking) (District of Harrogate) Consolidation Order 2013” by
introducing the restrictions specified in the table below:- Table - Waiting
Prohibited At All Times With Exemptions Park Way (U1025/3/50),
Knaresborough, North side from a point 12m East of its junction with
Scriven Road to a point 16m North of Scriven Road. Park Way
(U1025/3/50), Knaresborough, South side from a point 12.5m East of its
junction with Scriven Road to a point 24.5m South of its junction with
Scriven Road. Park Gate (U1022/3/50), Knaresborough, West side from a
point 15m North of its junction with Park Way to a point 10m West of its
junction with Park Way. Park Gate (U1022/3/50), Knaresborough, East side
from a point 14m North of its junction with Park Way to a point 10m East of
its junction with Park Way. Park Grove (U1023/3/50), Knaresborough, North
side from a point 10m East of its junction with Scriven Road to a point 15m
North of its junction with Scriven Road. Park Grove (U1023/3/50),
Knaresborough, South side from a point 10m East of its junction with
Scriven Road to a point 10m South of its junction with Scriven Road. Park
Avenue (U1018/3/50), Knaresborough, North side from a point 10m East of
its junction with Scriven Road to a point 15m North of its junction with
Scriven Road. Park Avenue (U1018/3/50), Knaresborough, South side from
a point 10m East of its junction with Scriven Road to a point 10m South of
its junction with Scriven Road. Scotch George Lane (U1039/3/50),
Knaresborough, North side from a point 15m West of its junction with
Scriven Road to a point 248m North of its junction with Scriven Road.

showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council's reasons for

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Wetherby Road, Harrogate, Order
2025, No. 247 We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from
using Wetherby Road, Harrogate for a temporary period (subject to access
to premises) between 21/07/25 & 10/08/25, due to resurfacing works
following installation of Toucan Crossing. However, the max duration of this
Order is until 21/12/25. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs &
a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. All

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Thornthwaite Brow, Thornthwaite,
Order 2025, No. 248 We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle
from using Thornthwaite Brow, Thornthwaite for a temporary period (subject
to access to premises) between 04/08/25 & 04/11/25, due to bridge
strengthening works. However, the max duration of this Order is until
21/07/26. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local

Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians, Cyclists & Horse Traffic, Public
Bridleways 15.80/4/1 & 15.100/5/1, North Deighton, Order 2024 No 34
Notice is hereby given that the above Order, the effect of which is to prohibit
any public access along Public Bridleways 15.80/4/1 & 15.100/5/1 in the
Parish of North Deighton between grid reference SE39005316 &
SE40865264 due to an unsafe Bridge has been continued in force for a
further 6 months until 07/01/26 or until the completion of the works
(whichever is the earlier), under Section 15(3) of the above Act with the
approval of the Secretary of State for Transport. The further continuation of

premises) between 21/07/25 & 25/07/25, due to Section 278 works.
