What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
THE CRESCENT, HORSLEY WOODHOUSE
WHEN: 21 July to 17 August 2025
WHERE: The Crescent, Horsley Woodhouse
between its Jct. with Main Street and its Jct.
with Chestnut Close.
REASON: To facilitate repairs to a stone wall.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: The Crescent, Fairfield
Road, Main Street and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever
reasonably possible, on the affected length of
road. The road will re-open as soon as the work
is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

Council intends to make an Order under
Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
