Willowpit Lane - Temporary Road Closure to Facilitate Carriageway Patching/resurfacing
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE WILLOWPIT LANE, HILTON
WHEN: 21 July to 22 July 2025
WHERE: Willowpit Lane, Hilton from a point approx. 540m south of its Jct. with Ash Lane for an approx. distance of 785m south.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway patching/resurfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Willowpit Lane, Ash Lane, A516 Derby Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
