What is happening?

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (DISTRICT OF IPSWICH) (HUMBER DOUCY LANE) (5U3091) (SUMMERFIELD CLOSE) (5U3090) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE) ORDER 2025

On the 23/06/2025 Suffolk County Council made the above order for the District of Ipswich under Section 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which would be to introduce:

? A 20-mph Speed Limit Zone to:

? Humber Doucy Lane (5U3091) - From the junction with Playford Road in a northerly direction to the junction of Rushmere Road, a distance of approximately 580 metres; and

? Summerfield Close (5U3090) - From the junction with Humber Doucy Lane in a westerly junction for a distance of approximately 75 metres.

A copy of the order, which comes into effect on 08/07/2025, may be seen with advance notice at the address below, 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday; and also at Ipswich County Library, Northgate Street, Ipswich, IP1 3DE, 9am - 6pm Monday, Wednesday and Thursday; 9am - 7pm Tuesday and Friday; 8.30am - 5pm Saturday; and 10am - 4pm Sunday.
