C107 Chevington Moor To West Chevington - Temporary Road Closure

TO WEST CHEVINGTON WEST CHEVINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C107 Chevington Moor To West Chevington for a distance of 20 metres across the level crossing in a north-easterly direction in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 20th July 2025 until the 21st July 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 20th July 2025 at 23:00 until the 21st July 2025 at 06:00 during this period.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C107, C117, C115, A1068, C114, C107 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Chevron TM on behalf of Network Rail to lift out the level crossing to allow S&C tamper to work through the area.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
