What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
RYLAH HILL, PALTERTON

WHEN: 24 July to 25 July 2025 (08:00 to 16:00 each day)
WHERE: Rylah Hill, Palterton at a point adjacent Rylah Farm.
REASON: To facilitate telegraph pole renewal works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Rylah Hill, Main Street, Losk Lane, Glapwell Lane, Bolsover Road, A617, M1 J29 Interchange, Unnamed Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
