(PROHIBITED RIGHT TURN) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 3 July 2025 Sheffield City Council made the above Orders which come into operation on 7 July 2025 under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Orders will be to introduce/add:

Prohibited Right Hand Turn on part of Rustlings Road;
With flow bus lanes - at all time on parts of Abbeydale Road;
No waiting at any time on parts of Abbeydale Road, Abbeydale Road South, Ecclesall Road, Hutchinson Road, Knaresborough Road, Rustlings Road and Sherwood Glen;
No waiting Monday to Saturday 07:30 -18:30 on parts of Abbeydale Road;
No loading at any time on parts of Abbeydale Road and Bannerdale Road;
No loading Monday to Friday 07:30 - 09:30 and 16:00 - 18:30 on parts of Abbeydale Road, Abbeydale Road South, Ecclesall Road, Hutchinson Road and Sherwood Glen;
24 hour Disabled bay on part of Abbeydale Road;


And remove:

With flow bus lanes – 07:30 - 09:30 Monday to Friday on parts of Abbeydale Road, Abbeydale Road South and Ecclesall Road,
With flow bus lanes – 16:00 - 18:30 Monday to Friday on parts of Abbeydale Road and Ecclesall Road,
Limited waiting Free Parking Place Monday to Saturday 07:30-18:30 max stay 1 hour no return within 3 hours on part of Abbeydale Road;
No waiting 08:00-18:30 on parts of Abbeydale Road South and Sherwood Glen;
No waiting Monday to Friday 07:30-9:30 and 16:00-18:30 on parts of Abbeydale Road and Abbeydale Road South;
No waiting Monday to Friday 07:30-09:30 on parts of Abbeydale Road South;
No waiting Monday to Friday 07:30-18:30 on parts of Abbeydale Road;
No loading Monday to Friday 07:30-09:30 and 16:00-18:30 on parts of Abbeydale Road;
No loading Monday to Friday 07:30-09:30 on parts of Abbeydale Road South;
No loading Monday to Friday 08:00-09:30 and 14:30-16:00 on parts of Bannerdale Road

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Orders or any of their provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the enabling Act or that a requirement of the enabling Act or any of the relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within six weeks of the 7 July 2025 make application for that purpose to the High Court.
