Rectory Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
RECTORY ROAD, UPPER LANGWITH
WHEN: 21 July to 17 August 2025
WHERE: Rectory Road, Upper Langwith between its Jct. with Bassett Hill for a distance of 65m in a westerly direction.
REASON: To facilitate gas main renewal works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Rectory Road, Bassett Hill and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
