ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
COMHAIRLE NAN EILEAN SIAR
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
(WILLOWGLEN ROAD, STORNOWAY) ORDER 2025


Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, under section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, hereby gives notice of the temporary road closure of the following section of road between:
11pm Thursday 17th July 2025
to 12.30am Friday 18th July 2025,
11pm Friday 18th July 2025
to 12.30am Saturday 19th July 2025,
11pm Saturday 19th July 2025
to 12.30am Sunday 20th July 2025.
WILLOWGLEN ROAD – from the junction with Macaulay Road and then in a north westerly direction to the junction with the A859, a distance of 270m or thereby.
The temporary road closure is in the interests of road safety as pedestrians exit the Hebridean Celtic Festival each night of the festival.
Traffic will be held up at any junctions or accesses to the section of Willowglen Road affected by the Order.
