PART OF A6123 ALDWARKE LANE RAWMARSH ROTHERHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of A6123 Aldwarke Lane from its junction with Aldwarke Road for a distance of approximately 135m in a westerly direction to the new roundabout from 10pm on Tuesday 15th July until 6am on Wednesday 16th July 2025.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via Great Eastern Way Roundabout,
Great Eastem Way, Taylors Lane Roundabout, Rotherham Road, Rotherham Road Roundabout, Rawmarsh Road, St Anns Road, Grafton Bridge Roundabout, St Anns Roundabout, Fitzwilliam Road, Mushroom Roundabout, Aldwarke Lane and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Rail bridge maintenance).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Morrell Street from its junction with Muglet Lane for a distance of 30m in a south westerly direction from Monday 7th July until Monday 28th July 2025.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via Muglet Lane, High Street, Blyth Road, Morrell Street and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Sewer repairs).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Bridgegate from a point approximately 17m south east of its junction with New Zealand for a distance of approximately 40m in a south westerly direction for periods of time between Monday 14th July and Friday 25th July 2025.
NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Electrical works).

NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order, the road is a cul de sac.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Telecom works).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the two parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice from Monday 14th July until Friday 1st August 2025. The roads will not be closed at the same time.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via local neighbouring streets.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the two parts of road (Water main renewal).
SCHEDULE
(i) Lambrell Avenue from its junction with Walesmoor Avenue to its junction with Longlands Avenue.
(ii) Queens Avenue from its junction with Walesmoor Avenue to its junction with Carlton Gate Drive.

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Hooton Lane from a point approximately 350m south of its junction with Main Street Brookhouse for a distance of approximately 200m in a southerly direction from Tuesday 8th July until Thursday 10th July 2025.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via
Hooton Lane, High Hooton Road, Carr Lane, Ramper Road, West Lane, Newhall Lane, Kingsforth Lane, Woodhouse Green, Green Arbour Road, Sandy Lane, Laughton Road, Rotherham Lane, High Street and vice versa.

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of B6059 School Road from its junction with Cherry Tree Road for a distance of 125 meters in an easterly from 8pm on Monday 7th July until 6am on Tuesday 8th July 2025.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative routes will be:
(i) vehicles over 15’3” in height via A618 Mansfield Road, B6058 Sheffield Road/Station Road, B6053 Eckington Way, A57 Chesterfield Road/Aston Way/Worksop Road, Kiveton Lane, Todwick, B6059 Station Road/Wales Road, and vice versa.

(TEMPORARY 30 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT RESTRICTION)
NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily revoke part of The Rotherham Borough Council (Various Roads, Rotherham) (Speed Limits and Speed Derestriction) (Consolidation) Order 2004 and reduce the speed limit from 60 miles hour to 30 miles per hour for motor vehicles travelling along that part of Hellaby Lane from a point approximately 450m south of its junction with Common Lane for a distance of approximately 200m south to the existing 30mph/60mph signage from Monday 14th July until Wednesday 16th July 2025. The reason for the speed limit order is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (safety of site personnel whilst undertaking essential gas works).
