Suffolk - Multiple Traffic Notices, Temporary Road Closures due to Maintenance, Utility Works, and Network Installation
What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF
THE U5028 STONE LODGE LANE, IPSWICH
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U5028 Stone Lodge Lane, Ipswich from Sleaford Close to Grantham Crescent to facilitate manhole repairs. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Birkfield Drive, Gippeswyk Avenue, Ancaster Road, Ranelagh Road, Burrell Road, Willoughby Road, Belstead Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 02/07/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF
THE U4428 CHURCH LANE, SPROUGHTON
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U4428 Church Lane, Sproughton from Gipping Way for 150 metres southbound to facilitate the installation of a fibre network. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
There will be no diversion route.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 11/07/2025 - 21/07/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE B1065
CHURCHGATE AND LOW STREET, GLEMSFORD
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:
• the B1065 Churchgate, Glemsford
• the B1065 Low Street, Glemsford.
This is to facilitate carriageway patching. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1066, the A1092, the B1065 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 02/07/2025 - 04/07/2025 from 7pm - 5am with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF
THE C516 LAXFIELD ROAD, CRATFIELD
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C516 Laxfield Road, Cratfield from 740 metres south of the junction with the road east of the C516 for 80 metres southbound to facilitate underground cabling works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Swan Green, Silverleys Green, Cratfield Road, Low Road, the B1116, the B1117, Cake Street and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 02/07/2025 - 08/07/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

THE U8517 SCOTLAND STREET, STOKE BY NAYLAND
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U8517 Scotland Street, Stoke by Nayland to facilitate carriageway patching. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1068, Rectory Hill, Mill Street, Martens Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 02/07/2025 - 04/07/2025 from 8am ñ 5pm with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF
THE U1501 HIGH LEAS, ST GEORGES ROAD AND ST ANNES ROAD AND F4289 FOOTWAY ALONGSIDE NUMBER 56 GLEBE VIEW TO HIGH LEAS, BECCLES
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads in the following phases:
1.
U1501 High Leas, Beccles from the junction with St Georges Road to the junction with Glebe View
U1501 St Georges Road, Beccles from the junction with Darby Road to the junction with High Leas
F4289 Footway alongside No. 56 Glebe View to High Leas, Beccles from the junction with High Leas to no. 11
2.
U1501 St Georges Road, Beccles from Darby Road to Beech Tree Close
U1501 St Annes Road, Beccles from no. 2 to the junction with Merrylees, and from no. 16 to no. 21
This is to facilitate a gas mains replacement. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists, except for F4289 Footway alongside no. 56 Glebe View to High Leas from the junction with High Leas to no. 11.
The diversion routes will be:
1.
for High Leas - Townlands Drive, Darby Road, St Georges Road and vice versa
for St Georges Road - Northbound - the B1062, Peddars Lane, Ingate Castle Hill, Rigbourne Hill with no vice versa
for St Georges Road - Southbound - Swines Green, St Annes Road, Ingate, Peddars Lane, the B1062 with no vice versa
for Footway alongside no. 56 Glebe View to High Leas - High Leas, Glebe View and vice versa
2.
for St Georges Road - as phase 1
for St Annes Road - Ingate, Ellough Road, Castle Hill, Rigbourne Hill, St Georges Road and vice versa
It is intended that the closures will operate from:
02/07/2025 - 06/08/2025
17/07/2025 - 27/08/2025
If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
