HOLDENHURST AVENUE, BOURNEMOUTH – HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT WORKS

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.

WHAT, WHERE AND WHEN:

Road closed to all vehicles and no parking – no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time

• Holdenhurst Avenue southbound from its junction with Castle Lane East to the property boundary of nos 78/80. Anticipated dates: 21 July to 10 August 2025

• Holdenhurst Avenue full closure from its junction with Castle Lane East to the property boundary of nos 78/80. Anticipated dates: 11 August to 15 August 2025

WHY: Highway improvement works by BCP Council

ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.

DIVERSION: Via Castle Lane East, Christchurch Road, Colemore Road, Holdenhurst Avenue

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
