(DARNING LANE, THORPE AUDLIN)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 172) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to excavate to install telecoms cable to link into existing telecoms apparatus as part of fibre to the home scheme to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Darning Lane, Thorpe Audlin for approximately 60 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Darning Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Thorpe Lane, Doncaster Road, Causeway Garth Lane & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 7th July 2025 at 08.00 hours to 9th July 2025 at 18.00 hours or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(AKETON ROAD, CASTLEFORD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 189) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for excavation on behalf of Northern Powergrid to upgrade electrical infrastructure to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Aketon Road, Castleford. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Aketon Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Leeds Barnsdale Road, Lumley Street, Aketon Road & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 23rd July 2025 to 29th August 2025 or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(LEEDS ROAD, CUTSYKE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 190) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for excavation on behalf of Northern Powergrid to upgrade electrical infrastructure to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Leeds Road, Cutsyke. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Leeds Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Aketon Road, Cutsyke Road, Bruce Smeaton Way, Leeds Road & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 23rd July 2025 to 29th August 2025 or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(FEATHERSTONE LANE, FEATHERSTONE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 191) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to carry out carriageway surfacing to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Featherstone Lane, Featherstone. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Featherstone Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: N/A.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 21st July 2025 at 07.30 hours to 15.30 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(BRIERLEY ROAD, SOUTH HIENDLEY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 194) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to locate & clear blockages on existing Openreach network for the roll out of fibre to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Brierley Road, South Hiendley, opposite number 16 Brierley Road to near the junction of Hilltop on Frickley Bridge Lane. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Brierley Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Brierley Road, High Street, Robin Lane, Barnsley Road and then Barewell Hill, Barnsley Road and Frickley Bridge Lane in Barnsley.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 21st July 2025 to 22nd July 2025 and again on 12th August 2025 to 13th August 2025, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(CHURCH AVENUE, SOUTH KIRKBY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 196) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to excavate and locate cable, joint new cable and reinstate excavations to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Church Avenue, South Kirkby for approximately 150 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Church Avenue.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Church Avenue, Church Grove, Church Drive & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 21st July 2025 to 25th July 2025 or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(MYSON AVENUE, PONTEFRACT)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 197) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to excavate and locate cable, joint new cable and reinstate excavations to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Myson Avenue, Pontefract for approximately 50 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Myson Avenue.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Ashdene Grove, Askham Avenue & vice versa. PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 21st July 2025 to 25th July 2025 or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 198) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to carry out carriageway patching to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Broadway Terrace, South Elmsall from the side of numbers 54 to 56 Broadway to outside numbers 6 to 7 Broadway Terrace. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Broadway Terrace.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Farm Road, Featherstone from the side of number 2 to the rear of number 31 Vicarage Lane. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Farm Road.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to carry out carriageway resurfacing to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Minsthorpe Lane, South Elmsall from Barnsley Road to Ash Grove. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Minsthorpe Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Barnsley Road, High Street, Mill Lane & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 21st July 2025 at 08.00 hours to 29th August 2025 at 17.00 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
