ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

(MARSDEN GATE, SOWOOD)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Sunbelt Rentals Limited have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Marsden Gate from Radio Mast in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 200 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Marsden Gate, Park Lane, B6112, A640 and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 7th July 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 8th July 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(ROCHDALE ROAD, ELLAND)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Northern Gas Networks have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Rochdale Road from Stainland Road to Saddleworth Road for a distance of approximately 260 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. One way traffic – access only at Calder Street/Stainland Road junction. No entry at junction Saddleworth Road/Long Wall – diversion via Saddleworth Road, Stainland Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 7th July 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 14th August 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(STOCKS LANE, LUDDENDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Spectrum Communication Solutions Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Stocks Lane from its junction with Mill Lane to Benns Lane for a distance of approximately 500 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Stocks Lane, Halifax Road, Birch Lane, Raw End Road, Heath Hill Road, Mount Tabor Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 7th July 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 20th July 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(ALMA LANE, COTTON STONES)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Poletek Communications Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Alma Lane from its junction with Lumb Lane to Clay Pits Lane for a distance of approximately 195 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. Alternative route for HGV is via Otter Lee Lane, Helm Lane, Birks Lane, Lumb Lane. Alternative route for vehicles Clay Pits Lane, Lighthazles Road, Blackshaw Clough Road, Lane head Road, Foxen Lane, Nathan Lane, Lumb Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 9th July 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 10th July 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.

(JUBILEE ROAD, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by L J Heffernan Utilities Limited have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Jubilee Road from its junction with A629 Salterhebble Hill in an easterly direction for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via A629 Salterhebble Hill, Huddersfield Road, Shaw Hill, Shay Syke, Water Lane, Siddal New Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 9th July 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 23rd July 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 19:00 & 06:00.

(A58 BURDOCK WAY, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of A58 Burdock Way from New Bank Road to Orange Street roundabout. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. For alternative route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 7th July 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 21st July 2025. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Free School Lane from junction with Heath Villas to Heath Road for a distance of approximately 70 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Savile Park Road, Skircoat Moor Road, Huddersfield Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 21st July 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 29th July 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(HANGINGROYD ROAD, HEBDEN BRIDGE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Hangingroyd Road from No. 20 to No. 13 for a distance of approximately 29 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. For alternative route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 21st July 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 26th July 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(LONDON ROAD, NORLAND)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Total Resources intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of London Road from Milner Royd to Norland Town Road for a distance of approximately 389 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Norland Town Road, Berry Moor Road, Sowerby Croft Lane, Spark House Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 21st July 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 21st July 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:30 & 16:30.

(OCCUPATION LANE, ILLINGWORTH)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Northern Gas Networks intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Occupation Lane from School Lane to Illingworth Road for a distance of approximately 360 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained 5to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Occupation Lane, Illingworth Road, Tewit Lane, School Lane and vice versa. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Queens Road from No. 114 to No. 122 for a distance of approximately 23 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Parkinson Lane, Warley Road, Hopwood Lane and vice versa.It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 21st July 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 21st July 2025. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Withinfields from its junction with Law Lane to end for a distance of approximately 125 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 21st July 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 29th August 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(SOUTHOWRAM BANK, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Total Resources intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Southowram Bank from Steep Bank Side in a south-easterly direction for a distance of approximately 110 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Beacon Hill Road, Burdock Way, Charlestown Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 22ndJuly 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 22nd July 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:30 & 16:30.

(PARK ROAD, ELLAND)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Excalon Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Park Road from its junction with Exley Lane in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 1000 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via A629, A58, A644, A6025 and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 23rd July 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 31st August 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(CLAY PITS LANE, COTTON STONES)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Total Resources intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Clay Pits Lane from Alma Inn to Lighthazles Road for a distance of approximately 117 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Alma Lane, Lumb Lane, Mill Bank Road, Lower Mill Bank Road, Foxen Lane, Head Road, Cross Wells Road, Blackshaw Clough Road, Lighthazles Road and vice versa. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Total Resources intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Foxen Lane from its junction with Lane Head Road for a distance of approximately 195 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. For alternative route follow diversion on site. (BOGGART LANE, SOWERBY BRIDGE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Boggart Lane from its junction with Sowerby Croft Lane to Lower Clyde Street for a distance of approximately 175 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Bank Road, Scar Head Road and vice versa.
