Station Road - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic

What is happening?

THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC PART OF
STATION ROAD, MARKET WEIGHTON

Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire
Council intends not less than seven days from the date
of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will
be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along part
of Station Road, Market Weighton from outside the
Community Centre northbound to the dead end
commencing 4 August 2025 for the purposes of
access to a telecoms mast for maintenance/repair
works. The road closure is necessary to enable the
works to be carried out in a manner consistent with
ensuring the safety of the public.
The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated
that the works will be completed within one day.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the road
closure will be via: N/A. The diversion route will be
signed at the time of closure. N/A.
The road will be closed to all traffic without exception.
