Department for Infrastructure - temporary speed limits

What is happening?

Temporary Speed Limit
A2 Bushmills Road, Portrush (Both Directions)
Notice is hereby given in compliance with paragraphs 1 and 2 of Schedule 3 of the Road Traffic
Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997 that the Department for Infrastructure, in exercise of
the powers conferred on it by Article 7(1) and (3) of the said Road Traffic Regulation (Northern
Ireland) Order 1997, proposes to impose the following temporary speed limit:
30 miles per hour speed limit, commencing on Sunday 13th July 2025 at 0001hrs and ending
on Monday 21st July 2025 at 2300hrs, on the A2 Bushmills Road, Portrush, from the existing
speed limit signage in the vicinity of Randal Park to the existing speed limit signage at street
lighting column 37.
Being satisfied that traffic should be restricted because of an event on the A2 at Royal
Portrush Golf Club. Traffic signs warning that the use of the road is subject to the above speed
limit restrictions and to indicate the nature and extent of the restrictions will be erected on the
road in due course.

Notice is hereby given in compliance with paragraphs 1 and 2 of Schedule 3 of the Road Traffic
Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997 that the Department for Infrastructure, in exercise of
the powers conferred on it by Article 7(1) and (3) of the said Road Traffic Regulation (Northern
Ireland) Order 1997, proposes to impose the following temporary speed limit:
40 miles per hour speed limit, commencing on Sunday 13th July 2025 at 0001hrs and ending
on Monday 21st July 2025 at 2300hrs, on the A2 Dunluce Road, Portrush, from the existing
speed limit signage at street lighting column 37 to its junction with Ballytober Road.
Being satisfied that traffic should be restricted because of an event on the A2 at Royal
Portrush Golf Club. Traffic signs warning that the use of the road is subject to the above speed
limit restrictions and to indicate the nature and extent of the restrictions will be erected on the
road in due course.

B62 Ballybogey Road, Ballybogey (Both Directions)
Notice is hereby given in compliance with paragraphs 1 and 2 of Schedule 3 of the Road Traffic
Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997 that the Department for Infrastructure, in exercise of
the powers conferred on it by Article 7(1) and (3) of the said Road Traffic Regulation (Northern
Ireland) Order 1997, proposes to impose the following temporary speed limit:
40 miles per hour speed limit, commencing on Sunday 13th July 2025 at 0001hrs and ending
on Monday 21st July 2025 at 2300hrs, on the B62 Ballybogey Road, Ballybogey, from the
existing speed limit signage in the vicinity of street light 24 to its junction with Oldtown Road.
Being satisfied that traffic should be restricted because of an event on the A2 at Royal
Portrush Golf Club. Traffic signs warning that the use of the road is subject to the above speed
limit restrictions and to indicate the nature and extent of the restrictions will be erected on the
road in due course.

B62 Ballybogey Road, Portrush (Both Directions)
Notice is hereby given in compliance with paragraphs 1 and 2 of Schedule 3 of the Road Traffic
Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997 that the Department for Infrastructure, in exercise of
the powers conferred on it by Article 7(1) and (3) of the said Road Traffic Regulation (Northern
Ireland) Order 1997, proposes to impose the following temporary speed limit:
40 miles per hour speed limit, commencing on Sunday 13th July 2025 at 0001hrs and ending
on Monday 21st July 2025 at 2300hrs, on the B62 Ballybogey Road, Portrush, from its junction
with the A2 Dunluce Road to a point 580m south of its junction with Ballymacrea Road.
Being satisfied that traffic should be restricted because of an event on the A2 at Royal
Portrush Golf Club. Traffic signs warning that the use of the road is subject to the above speed
limit restrictions and to indicate the nature and extent of the restrictions will be erected on the
road in due course.
Temporary Speed Limit
C535 Gateside Road, Coleraine (Both Directions)
Notice is hereby given in compliance with paragraphs 1 and 2 of Schedule 3 of the Road Traffic
Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997 that the Department for Infrastructure, in exercise of
the powers conferred on it by Article 7(1) and (3) of the said Road Traffic Regulation (Northern
Ireland) Order 1997, proposes to impose the following temporary speed limit:
40 miles per hour speed limit, commencing on Sunday 13th July 2025 at 0001hrs and ending
on Monday 21st July 2025 at 2300hrs, on the C535 Gateside Road, from 17 Gateside Road
to a point 1.1km north.
Being satisfied that traffic should be restricted because of an event on the A2 at Royal
Portrush Golf Club. Traffic signs warning that the use of the road is subject to the above speed
limit restrictions and to indicate the nature and extent of the restrictions will be erected on the
road in due course.
