What is happening?
The Isle of Wight Council’s Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders: -
The Isle of Wight Council (Medina Way, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 4 2025
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift, on Sunday 06 July 2025, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Medina Way, Newport, Northbound & Southbound between St Mary’s junction & slip roads between its junctions with Dodnor Lane and its junction with Holyrood Street. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during Grass Cutting works.
The Isle of Wight Council (Muggleton Lane, Brighstone, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 1 2025
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for ten shifts, between Monday 07 July 2025, and Friday 18 July 2025, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Muggleton Lane, Brighstone, From its junctions with Brighstone
Footpath 93, and its junction with Thorncross Lane. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during Bridge Maintenance.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for two shifts, between Tuesday 08 July 2025, and Thursday 10 July 2025, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Gully Road, Nettlestone, From its junctions with Ryde Footpath 68, and its junction with Ryde Bridleway 71. Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for three shifts, between Tuesday 08 July 2025, and Thursday 10 July 2025, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Hillrise Avenue, Binstead, From its junctions with Dame Anthonys Close, and its junction with Waterloo Crescent. The Isle of Wight Council (Cycle Track from Shanklin to Wroxall) (Temporary cycle track Closure) Order No 1 2025
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for three shifts, between Tuesday 08 July 2025, and Thursday 10 July 2025, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any pedestrian, cyclist or equestrian to proceed along Cycle Track from Shanklin to Wroxall, between its junction with Newchurch Bridleway 43, and its junction with Ventnor Footpath 50. The Isle of Wight Council (Hillis Gate Road, Northwood, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 2 2025
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0900 hours on Monday 7 July 2025 until 1800 hours on Friday 11 July 2025, or when the works has been completed, Hillis Gate Road will be closed between its junctions with Rolls Hill and Cowes & East Cowes Footpath 23. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The restriction is required for utility works.
The Isle of Wight Council (High Street, Seaview, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 1 2025
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours on Wednesday 9 July 2025 until 1500 hours on Friday 11 July 2025, or when the works has been completed, High Street will be closed between its junctions with Madeira Road and West Street. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The restriction is required for utility works.
The Isle of Wight Council (Westhill Lane, Yarmouth, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 2 2025
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0700 hours until 1700 hours on Thursday 10 July, or when the works has been completed, Westhill Lane, Yarmouth will be closed from its junctions with Graeme Road, for its entire length in a northerly direction. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The restriction is required for utility works.
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 4 July 2025 and Friday 18 August 2025 the following roads will be closed between either 0600 and 1800 or 1800 and 0600 for a period of approximately one to 5 days within this period, or when the works have been completed, to enable carriageway maintenance and lining works to be undertaken. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads: and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road were indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing works, reflective stud work and lining works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and on street advanced warning signs before the scheme commences. Adverse weather will have an impact on this programme:

The Isle of Wight Council (Various Streets, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 4 2025
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for a period between 1400 hours and 1800 hours, on Saturday 05 July 2025, or when the event is finished, whichever is sooner, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along, starting from,
1. Westhill Road between its junctions with Simeon Street Recreation Ground and East Hill Road;
2. The Strand between its junctions with Monkton Street and Esplanade;
3. Monkton Street between its junctions with Melville Street and The Strand;
4. Melville Street between its junctions with Cross Street and Monkton Street;

6. St Thomas Square for its entire length;
