What is happening?

PUBLIC NOTICE
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(U63115 Tibberton Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of U63115 Tibberton Rd from its junction with U63116 Imperial Rd to its junction with C2215 Avenue Rd.
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Alternative route: C2215 Avenue Rd, U63116 Imperial Rd and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 15 days between 30 June and 18 July 2025.
(U64211 Astley Burf) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of U64211 Astley Burf from its junction with U64212 Weather Ln for a distance of 210 metres in a south westerly direction.
Reason: Safe working for engineers to access and repair telecom work by Openreach.
Alternative route: U64212 Weather Ln, U64212 Bull Hill, B4196 Astley, U64211 Astley, U64211 Astley Burf (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 1 July 2025.
(U63100 Foley Terrace/U63100 St. Anns Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1 – U63100 Foley Terrace from its junction with B4218 Wyche Rd to its junction with U63100 St. Anns Rd.
Closure 2 – U63100 St. Anns Road from its junction with U63100 Foley Terrace to its junction with U63011 Happy Valley.
Reason: Carriageway patching & surface dressing over multiple phases by WCC.
Alternative route: U63100 St. Anns Rd (part), A449 Belle Vue Terrace, A449 Wells Rd, B4218 Wyche Rd and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days. Commencing: 21 July 2025.
(U63347 North End Lane, Madresfield) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order Made: To close that part of U63347 North End Ln from its junction with C2102 Madresfield Village to its junction with U63034 Mayfield Rd.
Reason: Surfacing works over multiple phases by WCC.
Alternative route: C2102 Madresfield Village, C2102 Newland, A449 Worcester Rd, B4208 Townsend Way and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 24 July 2025 and 1 August 2025.
EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

(Malvern Hills District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2025
(Restricted Waiting and Prohibition of Waiting) (Revocation and Proposals) and No Stopping on School Keep Clear Markings on Geraldine Road, Malvern)
On 12 June 2025 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to:
Revoke restriction of waiting Mon-Fri 8am-5pm on the following lengths of road in Malvern:
Geraldine Road (south side): from a point 90m west of its junction with Geraldine Close for a distance of 34m in a westerly direction;
Revocation of prohibition of waiting at any time
Private road accessing Malvern Hills Science Park/U63120 (south side): from a point 76m west of its junction with Geraldine Road for a distance of 14m in a westerly direction.
Prohibition of Waiting At Any Time on the following sides and lengths of road in Malvern:
Geraldine Road (south side): from a point 40m west of its junction with Geraldine Close for a distance of 34m in a westerly direction;
Geraldine Road (east side): from a point opposite its junction with U63120 for a distance of 30m in a northerly direction and 57.5m in a south easterly direction;
Geraldine Road (west side): from its junction with U63120 for a distance of 15m in a northerly direction;
U63120 (north side): from its junction with Geraldine Road for a distance of 73m in a westerly direction;
Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit stopping on School Keep Clear Markings at any time on the following sides and lengths of road in Malvern:
Geraldine Road (southwest side): from its junction with U63120 for a distance of 37m in a south easterly direction;
U63120/private road accessing Malvern Hills Science Park (south side): from its junction with Geraldine Road for a distance of 90m in a westerly direction.
The Order will vary and update the Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of certain parking restrictions through Penalty Charge Notices) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 3 July 2025.
A copy of the Orders, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be downloaded at the Malvern Hills Public Notice page on the Worcestershire County Council website or inspected at Malvern Hills District Council, Council House, Avenue Road, Malvern WR14 3AF and Wildwood, Wildwood Drive, Worcester WR5 2QT during normal office hours.
The validity of the Council’s powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
