TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257
AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14

SALTFLEET PUBLIC FOOTPATH NUMBER 50
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2024
On 16 May 2025 East Lindsey District Council confirmed the above-named Order. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert the whole width of PF No. 50 in the parish of Saltfleet running from the unaffected part of Saltfleet PF No. 50 at Point A (OSGR TF 4554 9404) in a north westerly direction for approximately 41 metres to Point D (OSGR TF 4551 9406) where it continues on its unaffected route. The total length of footpath to be diverted is approximately 41 metres shown between points A-D on the Order Drawing Number N/155/01754/23-02 TO AN ALTERNATIVE ROUTE in the parish of Saltfleet to be 2 metres in width, running from the unaffected part of Saltfleet PF No. 50 at Point A (OSGR TF 4554 9404) in a north easterly direction for approximately 2.5 metres to Point B (OSGR TF 4554 9404) continuing in a north westerly direction for approximately 41 metres to Point C (OSGR TF 4552 9406) then continuing in a south westerly direction for approximately 2.5 metres to Point D (OSGR TF 4551 9406). The total length of footpath to be added to be approximately 46 metres as shown between points A-B-C-D on the Order Drawing Number N/155/01754/23-02.
A copy of the confirmed Order and the Order drawing has been placed and may be viewed at Main Reception, East Lindsey District Council, The Hub and Willow House, Mareham Road, Horncastle, Lincolnshire, LN9 6PH between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday. The confirmed Order came into force as from 16 May 2025, the date that East Lindsey District Council confirmed that the terms of Article 2 of the Order had been complied with and that the alternative route had been constructed to a satisfactory standard. If any person aggrieved by the Order desires to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which the notice is first published (2 July 2025) as required by paragraph 7 of Schedule 14 to the Act.
