Robert Street, Williton - Temporary Closure due to gas connection
What is happening?
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Robert Street - from the junction with High Street, north- eastwards for a total distance of 142 metres. This Order will enable Wales and West Utilities to undertake a new gas connection. The Order becomes effective on 4th July 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 7th July 2025 and last until 11th July 2025 between the hours of 00.00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
