NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER
Town and Country Planning Act 1990 Section 257 and Schedule 14
Wychavon District Council Public Paths Diversion Order 2025
Footpaths 521B (Part) and 522C (Part) North and Middle Littleton, Evesham, Worcestershire
On 20 June 2025 Wychavon District Council Confirmed the above Order.
The effect of the Order will be to STOP UP:
(A) the existing Footpath No. 521 (part) running from Point A (Grid reference 407568 247119) across open land in an easterly direction to Point C (Grid reference 407707 247101) as shown on the plan annexed to the Order (the Order Plan).
The overall length of the path is approximately 137 metres and is shown as a bold black line on the Order Plan.
(B) the existing Footpath No.522 (part) running from Point A (Grid Reference 407568 247119) across open land in a north-easterly direction to Point B (Grid Reference 407623 247141) as shown on the plan annexed to the Order (the Order Plan).
The overall length of the path is approximately 58 metres and is shown as a bold black line on the Order Plan.
AND CREATE:
(A) a new footpath commencing from a well defined gap of at least 2 metres at Point D (Grid reference 407569 247114) in an easterly direction for approximately 33 metres to Point E (Grid reference 407602 247110) where it continues in an easterly direction for approximately 95 metres to Point F (Grid reference 407696 247099) where it continues in a easterly direction for approximately 10 metres to Point C (Grid reference 407707 247101) where it rejoins the original line of the path, all as shown on the Order Plan.
The new footpath shall be 3 metres in width, cambered to assist with drainage, and will be approximately 138 metres in length, as shown as bold black dashes on the Order Plan.
(B) a new footpath running from Point E (Grid Reference 407602 247110) in a north easterly direction for approximately 27 metres to Point G (Grid Reference 407617 247132) where it continues in a north easterly direction for approximately 11 metres to a pedestrian gate at Point B (Grid Reference 407623 247141) where it rejoins the original line of the path all as shown on the Order Plan.
The new footpath shall be 3 metres in width, cambered to assist with drainage between Points E to G and nominally level in its cross axis between Points G to B and approximately 38 metres in length as shown as bold black dashes on the Order Plan.
A copy of the Confirmed Order and the Order Plan may be seen free of charge at the Civic Centre at the address below during normal office hours. Copies of the Order and Order Plan may be bought there at a price of £2.00.
This Order comes into force on the date on which Wychavon District Council certify that the terms of Article 2 of the Order have been complied with but if any person aggrieved by the Order desires to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under Section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is first published, as required by Paragraph 7 of Schedule 14 to that Act.
