U82158, Woodward Avenue, Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Order

Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U82158, Woodward Avenue, Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U82158, Woodward Avenue, Hereford, at the junction with The Oval. Grid Ref: 349940 / 238505. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via new Kilvert Road onto The Oval and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to private drainage works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 7th of July 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 weeks.
