(U11412 Windermere Way, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U11412 Windermere Way from its junction with U11417 Coniston Crescent to its junction with U11400 Burlish Crossing.

Reason: Replacement gas main by Cadent Gas.

Alternative route: U11400 Burlish Crossing, B4195 Bewdley Rd North, B4195 Bewdley Rd, B4195 Worcester St, A451 Minster Rd, U11412 Windermere Way (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 42 days (24hrs). Commencing: 21 July 2025.

(C2021 Heightington Road, Rock) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2021 Heightington Rd from its junction with C2191 Greenway for a distance of 160 metres in a south easterly direction.

Reason: Utility work by Severn Trent Water.

Alternative route: C2021 Heightington Rd (part), C2021 Bliss Gate Rd, A456 Callow Hill, C2194 Lye Head Rd, C2194 Desland Ln, C2021 Heightington Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 22 July 2025.

(C2082 Cakebole Lane, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of C2082 Cakebole Ln from its junction with C2082 Cakebole to its junction with U13611 Church Ln.

Reason: Safe working for BT telegraph pole replacement by MJ Quinn.

Alternative route: C2082 Cakebole Ln (part), C2082 Lunnon Ln, C2018 Clattercut Ln, A442 Rushock to Cutnall Green, A442 Droitwich Rd, C2014 Curslow Ln, C2082 Cakebole, C2082 Cakebole Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 30 June 2025.

(U11100 Redstone Lane, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U11100 Redstone Ln from its junction with U11118 Hermitage Way to its junction with U11141 Woodhampton Cl.

Reason: Replacement gas main by Cadent Gas.

Alternative route: U11118 Hermitage Way, U11115 Layamon Walk, U11114 Hanstone Rd, U11100 Redstone Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 22 days (24hrs). Commencing: 30 June 2025.

(C2136 Sion Hill, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2136 Sion Hill from its junction with U12367 Upton Rd to its junction with A449 Stourbridge Rd.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Alternative route: C2136 Sion Hill (part), B4189 Wolverley Rd, A449 Wolverhampton Rd, A449 Stourbridge Rd and vice versa. Pedestrians to use opposite footway.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 24 days. Commencing: 21 July 2025.

(U11531 Stagborough Way, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U11531 Stagborough Way from its junction with U11550 Elmfield walk to its junction with U11500 Lower Lickhill Rd.

Reason: Mini patch works by WCC.

Alternative route: U11500 Lower Lickhill Rd, U11541 Ribbeford Dr, U11531 Stagborough Way (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 21 July 2025.

(U10219 Tudor Road, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U10219 Tudor Rd from its junction with U10221 Lyttleton Rd to its junction with U10202 Richmond Rd.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Alternative route: U10221 Lyttleton Rd, U10202 Richmond Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 month between 21 July 2025 and 4 August 2025.

(U11426 Bishop Street, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U11426 Bishop St from its junction with U11423 Brindley St to its junction with U11412 Windermere Way.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Alternative route: U11423 Brindley St, A451 Minster Rd, U11412 Windermere Way and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 24 July 2025 and 6 August 2025.

(B4196 Areley Common, Stourport On Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4196 Areley Common from its junction with U11100 Redstone Ln to its junction with Malvern Edge Court (NSG Ref 45703111).

Reason: Sewer works by Shannonside Civil Engineering.

Alternative route: B4196 Astley, B4194 Pearl Ln, A451 Dunley Rd, B4196 Areley Common (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 29 days (24hrs). Commencing: 21 July 2025.

(U10527 Hornbeam Close/U10527 Pinetree Road, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of

Closure 1: U10527 Hornbeam Close from its junction with U10524 Severn Way to its junction with U10527 Pinetree Rd.

Closure 2: U10527 Pinetree Road from its junction with U10527 Hornbeam Cl to its junction with U10511 Wyre Hill.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Alternative route: U10511 Wyre Hill, U10523 Waterloo Rd, U10524 Severn Way and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 21 July 2025 and 4 August 2025.

(C2129 Trimpley Lane/C2129 Trimpley, Shatterford) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of:

Closure 1 – C2129 Trimpley Lane from its junction with U13006 Upper Birch Rd to its junction with U13008 Eymore Wood Ln.

Closure 2 – C2129 Trimpley from its junction with U13008 Eymore Wood Ln to its junction with C2129 Habberley Rd.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.

Alternative route: C2129 Habberley Rd, C2129 Habberley Ln, B4190 Habberley Ln, A442 Bridgenorth Rd, C2129 Trimpley Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 22 July 2025.

(A451 Stourbridge Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of A451 Stourbridge Rd from its junction with U12362 Springfield Ln to its junction with U12361 Larkhill.

Reason: Replacement gas main by Cadent.

Alternative route: Anti-clockwise diversion: A451 Stourbridge Rd (part), A451 Horsefair, A451 Blackwell St, A456 St Mary’s Ringway, A456 The Ringway, A456 Coventry St, A456 Birmingham Rd, A449 Chester Rd North, A451 Stourbridge Rd (part).

Clockwise diversion: A451 Stourbridge Rd (part), A449 Chester Rd North, A456 Birmingham Rd, A456 Coventry St, A456 The Ringway, A451 Axminster Way to Blackwell, U12345 Horsefair, A451 Stourbridge Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days (24hrs). Commencing: 21 July 2025.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(A456 West of Kidderminster) (30mph, 40mph and 50mph Speed Limit) (Revocation and Proposal) Order 2025

On 12 June 2025 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the speed limit on the following lengths of road on the A456 West of Kidderminster:

30 miles per hour on the following roads:

A456 Callow Hill from a point 82m southwest of its junction with A4117 Cleobury Road to a point 178m east of its junction with Lye Head Road.

A4117 Cleobury Road from its junction with A456 Callow Hill for a distance of 190m in a north westerly direction.

C2021 Bliss Gate Road from its junction with A456 Callow Hill for a distance of 29m in a southerly direction.

40 miles per hour on the following roads:

A456 Pound Bank from a point 82m southwest of its junction with A4117 Cleobury Road to a point 45m southwest of its junction with UC10004 (Pound Bank).

C2193 from its junction with A456 for a distance of 80m in a southerly direction.

UC10004 (Pound Bank) from its junction with A456 for a distance of 270m in a northerly direction.

C2021 (Bliss Gate Road) from a point 29m south of its junction with A456 in a generally southerly direction to a point 340m south of its junction with Dark Lane.

50 miles per hour on the following roads:

A456 Long Bank from a point 178m east of its junction with Lye Head Road to its junction with A456 Long bank roundabout.

A456 Long Bank Roundabout over its entire length.

A456 Bewdley Bypass from its junction with A456 Long Bank roundabout to its junction with A456 Bewdley Bypass/Catchems End roundabout.

A456 Bewdley Bypass/Blackstone roundabout over its entire length.

A456 Bewdley Bypass/Catchems End roundabout over its entire length.

A456 Kidderminster Road from its junction with A456 Bewdley Bypass/Catchems End roundabout to its junction with A456 Bewdley Hill.

A456 Bewdley Hill from its junction with A456 Kidderminster Road to a point 110m west of its junction with The Lea.

There are exemptions in the Order for Special Forces Vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 3 July 2025.
