Reason: Drainage and flood alleviation work by WCC.

Reason: Installation of new water main by Above.

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4092 Alcester Rd to Mile Post Ln from its junction with A422 Worcester Rd to its junction with U43409 Morton Hall Ln.

Reason: New gas main connection by Cadent.

Alternative route: B4092 Alcester Rd to Mile Post Ln (part), A422 Alcester Rd, A422 Worcester Rd, A441 Evesham Rd, A441 The Ridgway, B4090 Salt Way, B4092 Mile Post Ln to Edgioock Cross Roads, B4092 Alcester Rd to Mile Post Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days (24hrs). Commencing: 21 July 2025.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(As Amended) (B4204 Martley Road, Lower Broadheath) (Temporary 40mph Speed Limit) Order 2023

NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 21 December 2023 the effect of which is to impose a temporary 40 mph speed limit on that part of B4204 Martley Road from its junction with Heronswood Close (Private) to its junction with B4204 Martley Road to Middle Temple Laugherne Cottages, which was due to expire on 3 July 2025 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department for Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 2 January 2026, whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State.

The Order has been made due to a road construction for a new development by Bloor Homes.

(Footpaths MT-694, MT-695 & MT-697 Martley)

(Temporary Closure Order) 2025

Order made: To close Footpaths MT-694, MT-695 & MT-697 Martley for their entire length.

The Order has been made due to Housing Development.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: is along Footpath MT-701, B4197 Berrow Green Road, U64619 Kingswood Road, and vice versa.

The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months continuing on from 11 June 2025.

Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2025

[Prohibition of Waiting on A38 Droitwich Road and Agatha Gardens, Fernhill Heath]

On 12 June 2025 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following sides and lengths of road in Fernhill Heath:

• A38 Droitwich Road (Southeast side): from its junction with Agatha Gardens for a distance of 9 metres in a north easterly direction and 10 metres in a south westerly direction.

• Agatha Gardens (Both sides): from its junction with A38 Droitwich Road for a distance of 13 metres in a south easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 3 July 2025.

(Temporary 30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2025

Order made: To impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on that part of A422 Worcester Rd from its junction with U43202 Libbery Ln for a distance of 420 metres in an easterly direction.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 19 days (24hrs). Commencing: 30 June 2025.
