Lady Bay Bridge - Temporary Prohibition Of Proceeding For Repaint Lady Bay Bridge
What is happening?

(Temporary Prohibition Of Proceeding) Order 2025 (R25-110)
Notice Is Hereby Given that the Nottinghamshire County Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at West Bridgford in the Borough of Rushcliffe
The effects of the Order will be:
1. No person shall proceed in the following length of road
a. Lady Bay Bridge, West Bridgford - From its junction with Lady Bay Bridge, Nottingham in a south easterly direction for 150 metres
b. Lady Bay Bridge, Nottingham - From its junction with Meadow Lane, Nottingham to its junction with Lady Bay Bridge, West Bridgford
2. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.
3. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.
It Is Intended that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows:
Carriageway - From 20:00 hours until 06:00 hours.
West Footway - From 08:30 hours until 17:30 hours.
From Monday 7th July until Wednesday 20th August 2025
And Notice Is Hereby Further Given that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be:
a. A6011 Meadow Lane - County Road - Cattle Market Road - A60 Trent Bridge - A6520 Radcliffe Road and vice versa
The Order will come into force on 7th July 2025 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out. The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).
The prohibition is required to enable Dart Industrial Services to repaint Lady Bay Bridge.
