Gloucester - Temporary Closure And Restriction Unclassified Grosvenor House Service Road
What is happening?
TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION UNCLASSIFIED GROSVENOR HOUSE SERVICE ROAD (WESTGATE WARD) GLOUCESTER CITY
Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of Unclassified Grosvenor House Service Road from its junction with Market Parade to its junction with Station Road for a distance of approximately 67 metres.
The reason for the closure is to facilitate development works for the Kings Quarter Development.
To facilitate this temporary closure part of the GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL ON-STREET
PARKING ORDER 2017 will be suspended for the duration of the works and temporary restrictions and changes will be introduced for the duration of the works as per the attached Schedule below.
The road is expected to be closed from the 3rd July 2025 until the 3rd July 2026 only or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.
Alternative Route – as signed on site. Emergency and pedestrian access will be maintained.
