(Beach Road, Canvey Island) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Beach Road, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 30m south east of its junction with Arcadia Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st July 2025 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30018307111 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
No alternative route is available.
The Order will come into effect on 3rd July 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Canewdon Hall Farm, Canewdon)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Canewdon Hall Farm, Canewdon in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Lark Hill Road to its end a distance of approximately 300m.
To temporarily introduce a ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only. The “Essex County Council (Rochford Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2018” will be temporarily amended to include Canewdon Hall Farm, Canewdon as a temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking restrictions on site.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st July 2025 for 19 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EPD128873698 – Essex & Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing or displayed on one.network. The closure and temporary restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new water main works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

(Claydons Lane, Thundersley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Claydons Lane, Thundersley in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 210m south east of its junction with Daws Heath Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st July 2025 for 6 nights (20:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EC30018307114 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dunton Road, Laindon in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 195m east of its junction with Rectory Road for a distance of approximately 170m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st July 2025 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN013186187A – Essex and Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while water connection works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.

(Florence Road, Canvey Island) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the Order: To temporarily close that length of Florence Road, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 170m south east of its junction with St Michaels Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st July 2025 for 10 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30018307115 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of High Road, Laindon in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with High Road Roundabout for a distance of approximately 315m in a south westerly direction.
To temporarily close that length of New Century Way, Laindon in the Borough of Basildon, from junction with High Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a
southerly direction. The closures are scheduled to commence on 21st July 2025 for 18 nights (21:00–05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP40038102695 & EP40038168622 – Blu-3 (UK) LTD). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while new carriageway construction works are undertaken by Blu-3 (UK) LTD.

(Southend Road & Golden Jubilee Way/Runwell Road Roundabout, Wickford (Directional Left Lane Only) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Southend Road, Wickford (directional left lane only) in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Golden Jubilee Way/Runwell Road Roundabout to its junction with Franklin Way for a distance of approximately 150m.
To temporarily close that length of Golden Jubilee Way/Runwell Road Roundabout, Wickford (directional left lane only) in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Southend Road to its junction with Southend Road a distance of approximately 40m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st July 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008AK00000A100102 – Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while new mains works are
undertaken by Cadent.

(Sutton Road, Rochford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Sutton Road, Rochford in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 120m west of its junction with Sutton Court Road for a distance of approximately 100m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th July 2025 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008ARP-ROC-406-00 – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach.

(Various Roads, District of Rochford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) & (Stambridge Road, Stambridge/ Rochford) (Temporary Suspension of 7.5 Tonne Weight Restriction) (No.5) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close those lengths of road in the District of Rochford as specified in Schedule 1.
To temporarily suspend the 7.5T weight restriction on that length of Stambridge Road, Stambridge/Rochford, from the junction of Weir Pond Road to the junction of Ashtion Hall Road a distance of approximately 4100m as cited in “The Essex County Council (Rochford District, Stambridge/Rochford) (Weight Restriction) Order 1988” (“the 1988 Order”).
A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on those lengths of road in Schedule 1 and 2 to facilitate the works. All existing signs will be obscured during the No Waiting restriction to be in force.
The “Essex County Council (Rochford District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to introduce the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions during the closure and any existing waiting restrictions will be suspended.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th July 2025 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008ARP-ROC-406-00 – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while works are undertaken by Openreach.

closure is scheduled to commence on 14th July 2025 for 5 days, or where stated on a

with Creekview Road for a distance of approximately 25m in a north westerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th July 2025 for 5 days, or where

Effect of the order:
To temporarily close those lengths of road in the Borough of Basildon, as detailed in
the Schedule.
The works are scheduled to commence after 19th June 2025, as stated on a valid permit.
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or
displayed on One.Network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then
re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion
routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of
each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the roads.
The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains
replacement works are undertaken by Cadent Gas.
The Order came into effect on 19th June 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months
or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
