Provision Of Speed Humps – Valentines Road and Ingleby Road
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to control the speed of vehicles under the Highways Act 1980 and in accordance with the provisions of the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 the Council of the London Borough of Redbridge proposes to construct speed humps at the following locations:–
(i) Valentines Road, outside house No. 9 or thereabouts;
(ii) Valentines Road, outside house No. 26 or thereabouts;
(iii) Valentines Road, outside house No. 39 or thereabouts;
(iv) Valentines Road, outside house No. 52 or thereabouts;
(v) Ingleby Road, outside house Nos. 13/15 or thereabouts;
(vi) Ingleby Road, outside house Nos. 32/34 or thereabouts;
(vii) Ingleby Road, outside house No. 62 or thereabouts;
(viii) Ingleby Road, outside house Nos. 77/79 or thereabouts;
The speed humps (i) to (viii) would be of round top design, approximately 75 millimetres at their highest point with an overall length of 3.7 metres. The speed humps would be constructed in accordance with Department for Transport regulations.
A copy of the plans showing the locations of the speed humps may be inspected between 9.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., on Mondays to Fridays at the Information Centre,
Lynton House, 255–259 High Road, Ilford Essex IG1 1NY.
Any person wishing to object or make representation to the proposals should send a statement in writing of either their objection or representation and the grounds thereof to the Head of Highways and Transportation Strategy, Lynton House, 2nd Floor Front, 255–259 High Road, Ilford, Essex IG1 1NY quoting reference CP/TE/SA-ZR/25-IRVR by no later than 17th July 2025.
