Traffic Regulation Order Affecting The Inner & Outer Zones Of The City Centre Controlled Parking Zone Area

Notice is hereby given that the on the 24 June 2025, the Council made the below-mentioned Order under Sections 1-4, 19, 32, 35, 38, 45-53 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to become operative on the 30 June 2025, the effect of which will be:-

The Parking Places and Controlled Parking Zone (Liverpool) (Order 2009) (Variation Nº118) Order, 2025 to vary The Parking Places and Controlled Parking Zone (Liverpool) Order, 2009, so as to: -

1(A) To extend the operational hours of the inner and outer controlled parking zones so that it operates between the hours of 7am to 11pm, Monday to Sunday (inclusive);
1(B) To extend the operational hours of various parking places specified throughout this Notice;
1(C) To introduce new part-time pay and display, disabled and residents parking places at the roads or parts of roads with various operational hours specified in this Notice;
1(D) To extend the maximum stay time in the pay and display parking places in Hope Street, Blackburne Place, Falkner Street between Hope Street and Catherine Street, Maryland Street between Hope Street and South Hunter Street and Caledonia Street from their current 2 hours to 4 hours; and

2. Delete the existing:-
