(LAW SLACK ROAD/ PENISTONE ROAD, HADE EDGE, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the roads have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Law Slack Road/Penistone Road, Hade Edge, Holmfirth from a point approximately outside Law Head Farm to a point outside New House Barn and a point approximately at the side of Law Cottages PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Law Common Road, Flight Hill, Dunford Road, Penistone Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Thursday 3 July 2025 and remain in force until 8 July 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(FOOTPATH FROM PLATNAM GROVE TO MACAULEY ROAD, BIRKBY, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the footpath has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in that length of Platnam Grove Birkby from approximately side of property no. 24 Platnam Road to a point approximately to the back of property no.76 Annie Smith Way PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out the proposed works.

Pedestrian access will not be maintained at all times.

No diversion available.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 30 June 2025 and remain in force until 31 October 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 6 months if necessary).

(OLD TURNPIKE, HONLEY, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Old Turnpike, Honley, Holmfirth from its junction with Eastgate to its junction with Southgate PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Southgate, Eastgate and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Friday 4 July 2025 and remain in force for approximately one day between the hours of 08:00 to 13:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(CROW LANE, MILNSBRIDGE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Crow Lane, Milnsbridge, from its junction with Saville Street to approximately 100m North of viaduct PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via:

Clockwise only - Crow Lane, Royd Street, Dale Street, Market Street, Scar Lane

Anti-clockwise - Crow Lane, Royd Street, Dale Street, Market Street, Savile Street

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 30 June 2025 20:00 and remain in force until 2 July 2025 06:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(SLADES ROAD, BOLSTER MOOR, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Slades Road, Bolster Moor, from a point approximately outside property no. 52 Slades Road to a point approximately outside property no. 62 Slades Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Slades Road, Drummer Lane, Bolstermoor Road.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 30 June 2025 and remain in force until 2 July 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(REDDISHER ROAD, MARSDEN, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Reddisher Road, Marsden, from a point approximately outside property no. 3 Reddisher Road to a point outside property no. 4 Reddisher Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

No diversion required. All residents affected will be contacted.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Saturday 12 July 2025 and remain in force until 20 July 2025. Dates will either be weekend 12th July 2025 21.00 to 13th July 07.00 or 19th July 2025 21.00 to 20th July 2025 07.00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(UPPER BANK END ROAD, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Upper Bank End Road, Holmfirth from its junction with Ryebank to a point approximately outside property no. 27 Upper Bank End Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Upper Bank End Road, Well Lane, Cinder Hills Road, South Lane, Back Lane, Dunford Road, Underbank Old Road, Sweep Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 16 July 2025 and remain in force until 22 July 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(ROYD HOUSE LANE, LINTHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Royd House Lane, Linthwaite from its junction with Causeway Side to a point outside property no. 227 Royd House Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Causeway Side, Pennine View, Royd House Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 14 July 2025 and remain in force until 29 August 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(STONEY BATTERY ROAD, CROSLAND MOOR, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Stoney Battery Road, Crosland Moor, from its junction with Manchester Road, to a point outside Canal Bridge on Stoney Battery Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

No diversion due to Stoney Battery Road being a dead end, restricting class of vehicle. Pedestrian access via PROW HUD/269/10 and HUD/269/20 not affected.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 2 July 2025 to follow on from the expiry of the Emergency Notice dated 10 June 2025 and will remain in force until 12 August 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(LINAKER STREET, LOCKWOOD, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Linaker Street, Lockwood, from its junction with Bland Street to approximately a point outside property no.22 Linaker Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Linaker Street, Victoria Road, St Stephen’s Road, Bland Street, clockwise only.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 15 July 2025 and remain in force until 16 July 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(PARK GATE ROAD, MARSDEN, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Park Gate Road, Marsden, from its junction with Kettle Lane Southwest to a point approximately just past Paddock Farm PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Kettle Lane, Crow Trees Road, West Slaithwaite Road, Manchester Road, Peel Street, Warehouse Hill Road, Marsden Lane, Park Gate Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 14 July 2025 and remain in force until 15 July 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(CROFTLANDS, NEWSOME, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Croftlands, Newsome, from its junction with Lockwood Scar to its junction with Littlewood Croft PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Lockwood Scar, Barcroft Road, Close Hill Lane, Croftlands and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Sunday 13 July 2025 and remain in force for approximately one day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the footpath has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in that length of Footpath 238 off Plane Street, Newsome, Huddersfield from the end of Plane Street to Footpath 238 near Stile Common Park PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out the proposed works.

Pedestrian access will be not maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for persons affected by the closure will be available via unaffected part of footpath 238, Newsome Road, Stile Common Road, Malvern Road/Malvern Rise, Plane Street and vice versa.

The closure which came into operation on 6 January 2025 has been extended with permission of the Secretary of State for Transport to remain in force for a further period until 6 January 2026 (Any further extension will again require the permission of the Secretary of State)
