What is happening?

Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, Amendment No Tbc, Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which will be to amend ‘North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of Waiting and Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Craven) (Consolidation) Order 2013’ by introducing the restrictions specified in the table:- Table: Settle, Church Street, SW side 10m in from junction with Marshfield Road in a north westerly direction for 11m - No Waiting between 8am & 4pm. A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & at Settle Community Library, Limestone View, Lower Greenfoot, Settle, BD24 9RB during normal office hours from 26/06/25 to 18/07/25 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-collution-orders. If you wish to object to the proposed Order, you should send the grounds for your objection, in writing, addressed to Area 5 Skipton Highways Office, Skaygill Industrial Estate, Keighley Road, Skipton, North Yorkshire BD23 2QR or by email Area5.Skipton@northyorks.gov.uk or via the website link above by 18/07/25.
30 Mph Speed Limit, Church Road, Linton & Station Road to Church Road, Threshfield, Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84(1) & (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule to the 1984 Act, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 30 MPH on that length of road specified below:- Church Road, Linton, (for 128/2/50), Station Road to Church Road (U2248/2/50), Threshfield, for its full length. A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & at Skipton Library, 46 High Street, Skipton BD23 1HS during normal office hours from 26/06/25 until 18/07/25 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Moorber Lane, Coniston Cold, Order 2025, No. 240
We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Moorber Lane, Coniston Cold for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 14/07/25 & 25/07/25, due to Northern Gas Networks works to disconnect an old service & lay a new gas service. However, the max duration of this Order is until 14/10/25. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Tatterthorn Road, High Bentham, Order 2025, No. 241
We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Tatterthorn Road, High Bentham for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 16/07/25 & 29/08/25, due to Yorkshire Water works to renew the water main. However, the max duration of this Order is until 16/01/26. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate.
