An order has been made to close Church Street from outside house numbers 9 to 20, from 3 July 2025 for approximately one week.
Reason: works to telecoms service.

Norman Close – for 10 metres from the junction with De Lacy Drive.
Saxon Crescent – from outside house number two to eight.

An order has been made to close Halifax Road, Thurgoland from Cote Lane to Crane Moor Road, from 30 June 2025 for approximately five days. The road will be closed overnight only between 1900 and 0500 and reopened during the day.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing.

An order has been made to close the below streets:
Church Street, Darton between Barnsley Road, and Station Road. An alternative is available via A637 Barnsley Road, Dearne Hall Road, Spark Lane, Towngate, Darton Lane.
Station Road, Darton between Bloomhouse Lane and School Street. An alternative route is available via Sackup Lane, Bloomhouse Lane. Restrictions will be in place from 29 June 2025 for approximately 2 weeks. Works will be undertaken overnight only between 20.00 and 05.00 with no works on Friday and Saturday evenings.
