TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council propose to make an order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 not less than seven days from the date hereof the Highway Authority being satisfied the speed along the said section of road should be restricted because works are being or are proposed to be carried out on or near the road.
The effect of the Order, which will come into effect on 7th July 2025, will be to temporarily restrict the speed along the lengths of road specified in the Schedule below at such times as traffic management signs may be erected to notify highway users of the restriction. It is expected that works will be carried out between approximately 7th July 2025 and 7th January 2027. The Order may continue in force for a maximum period of eighteen months.
The Schedule
Temporary 30mph Speed Limit - A1046 Haverton Hill Road, Billingham - From its junction with A1032 Portrack interchange in a north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 400 metres.
