(VARIOUS ROADS, WALSALL) ORDER NO. 1 JULY 2025

Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends, not less than 7 days
from the date of this notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicles
from proceeding in the lengths of carriageway specified in schedule 1 OTHER THAN in the
direction specified in Schedule 2.
SCHEDULE 1 SCHEDULE 2
Bescot Crescent, Walsall that is situated from its
junction with Wallows Lane to its junction with A4148
Broadway West in a northerly direction.
(Monday 7 July 2025 to Friday 11 July 2025).
Reason for Order: Gas main replacement
Works on behalf of: Cadent Gas

And, prevent any vehicle from proceeding in the lengths of:
 A461 BESCOT ROAD, WALSALL that is situated from its junction with A4148 Wallows
Lane to its junction with M6 J9 gyratory (Wednesbury Interchange).
 M6 J9 GYRATORY (WEDNESBURY INTERCHANGE), WALSALL in its entirety.
 A461 WOOD GREEN ROAD, WALSALL, that is situated from its junction with M6 J9
gyratory (Wednesbury Interchange) to its junction with Axletree Way.
(Sunday 20 July 2025 to Friday 08 August 2025 between the hours of 22:00 to 05:00
only).
Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing.
Works on behalf of: Walsall Council.
 SALTERS ROAD, WALSALL WOOD that is situated from its junction with New Wood
Grove to its junction with Stewart Road. (09:30 – 14:00) (Thursday 24 July 2025).
Reason for Order: Repair defective frame and cover.
Works on behalf of: Severn Trent Water.
 MILL LANE, WILLENHALL that is situated at its junction with Watkins Road for a
distance of approximately 30 metres in a westerly direction.

Reason for Order: Sewer Repair.
Works on behalf of: Severn Trent Water.
This ORDER will come into operation on Monday 7 July 2025. It is anticipated that the works
will be completed as close as possible to the dates above. Signed diversion routes (viewable
on the website one.network) will be in operation for affected traffic. The Order will remain in
force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
