What is happening?

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)
ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council has made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C410 Princess Louise Road, Blyth from its junction with Broadway Circle heading in a westwards direction for a distance of 30 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 29th June 2025 until the 27th July 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 29th June 2025, the road will be closed between the hours of 09:30 & 23:00, during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 27th July 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C410, C412, A193 and vice-versa. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water to carry out interim to permanent reinstatement.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
