What is happening?
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(POND LANE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Pond Lane in both directions between its junction with Bradley Road and property 143.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 30 June 2025 until 3 July 2025.
The diversion route is: Rowan Tree Drive, Wilcock Road, Dixon Street, Kent Road and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate a new domestic gas service installation by Cadent Gas, and a new water connection installation by Severn Trent Water.
