St Johns Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Water Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Taunton Temporary Closure of St Johns Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along St Johns Road - from the junction with Park Street, northwards for a total distance of 54 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to undertake service disconnection works.
The Order becomes effective on 10th July 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 14th July 2025 and last until 18th July 2025 between the hours of 00:00 -23:59 for a total of 5 days. There is no alternative route for this closure.
