The East Sussex (U5456 Vicarage Close, Seaford)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Vicarage Close – for its full length.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible.
The Order commences 30 June 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 30 June and 1 July 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (C596 Ballsocks Lane, Horam)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
To allow UKPN to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Ballsocks Lane – from the junction with C406 Nettlesworth Lane to the junction with C596 Foords Lane.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C596 Foords Lane – C406 Nettlesworth Lane and vice versa.
The Order commences 3 July 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 4 July 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
To allow BT Openreach to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Church Road – from the junction with P8732 Lime Park to the junction with U7123 Butlers Lane.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via U7696 Church Road – U7697 Lower Road – U7075 Cricketing Lane – A271 Hailsham Road, Garden Street – U7696 Chapel Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 1 July 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 1 July 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 No.2
To allow BT Openreach to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Middle Lane – from the junction with U7278 Goldings Lane to the junction with C16 Rushlake Green.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C15 Middle Lane – C16 Rushlake Green, Marklye Lane, Chapel Lane – B2096 Battle Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 3 July 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 3 and 4 July 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 No.2
To allow South East Water to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Castle Hill – from the junction with C209 Treblers Road to the junction with C12 Five Ashes Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C209 Treblers Road, Mottins Hill – B2100 Rotherfield Road, Church Road, High Street – B2101 South Street, Mayfield Road – C12 Cottage Hill and vice versa.
The Order commences 1 July 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 1 and 3 July 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 No.3
To allow SGN to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Argos Hill Lane – from the junction with A267 Argos Hill to the junction with U7573 Argos Hill Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via U7572 Argos Hill Road – B2101 Bicycle Arms Road – A267 Argos Hill and vice versa.
The Order commences 30 June 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 30 June and 10 August 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

The Order commenced 7 May 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 30 June and 2 July 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

The Order commences 11 July 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 11 July 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

To allow Network Rail to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Cooksbridge Road – from the junction with C6 Beechwood Lane to the junction with U5068 Chandlers Mead.

The Order commences 17 July 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 17 and 21 July 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

The Broyle/Terrible Down Road/Lewes Road, Ringmer & Halland)(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;

Ringmer Road/Lewes Road/The Broyle/Terrible Down Road/ Lewes Road – from the junction with A26 Uckfield Road to the junction with A22 Eastbourne Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via A22 Eastbourne Road, Uckfield bypass, Little Horsted roundabout – A26 Lewes Road, Rose Hill, Uckfield Road and vice versa. The Order commences 16 July 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken from 20:00hrs to 06:00hrs between 16 and 19 July 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.

A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic westbound via C411 Station Road – A295 George Street, North Street, High Street – C718 Market Square, Market Street – U7210 Bellbanks Road and eastbound via C718 Market Street, Market Square – A295 George Street – C411 Station Road – U7210 Bellbanks Road.
The Order commences 16 July 2025 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 16 and 30 July 2025 depending upon the weather conditions.
