Eastleigh Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Gas Works

Somerset Council Parish of Taunton Temporary Closure of Eastleigh Road

Somerset Council in exercise of Its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Eastleigh Road - from the junction with Northleigh Road to the junction with Southleigh Road. A total distance of 183 metres. This Order will enable Wales and West Utilities to undertake gas connection works.

The Order becomes effective on 10th July 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 15th July 2025 and last until 18th July 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 4 days.
