(EVENTS, BARKING AND DAGENHAM) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE OF INTENT
- NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to safely facilitate events and parades, the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham intends to make a Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
- The Order will come into effect for each event or parade as named in Column 2 of Schedule 3 to this Notice on the dates and times given in Column 3 of that Schedule.
- However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to re-enact the closure as and when the works are required.
- When the named events specified in Schedule 3 are taking place and advanced warning signs are being displayed the Order will for each event named in Column 2:
- of Schedule 1 temporarily prohibit all vehicular traffic in roads specified in Column 3 of that Schedule;
- of Schedule 2 temporarily prohibit waiting and loading on footway and carriageway on those roads or parts of road specified in Column 3 of that Schedule.
- The provisions of this Order will not prevent access being maintained for emergency services or for vehicles which are being used in connection with the event, to any other premises accessible from, and only from, those roads or parts of roads.
