Limpley Stoke - Temporarily to All Traffic to Enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to Carry Out Bridge Repair Works

What is happening?

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: B3108 (Part), Limpley Stoke; from its junction with Lower Stoke for a distance of approximately 100m in an easterly direction to enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out bridge repair works. 

Alternative route via B3108 (unaffected length) – A363 – B3109 – B3105 – A361 – A36 and vice versa. 

The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. 

This Order will come into operation on 21 July 2025 at 06:00 and the closure will be required until 18:00 on 31 August 2025. 

It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. 

Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. 

The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
