(A7 MAGDALA TERRACE, GALASHIELS)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2025

The Scottish Borders Council (A7 Magdala Terrace, Galashiels) (Temporary Closing) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 29 June 2025 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 08:00 and 12:00. The Order is required for Scottish Water iron works repairs.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the A7 at Magdala Terrace, Galashiels.

The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the A7, A6091, A68, A720 and A7 to the point of closure,  for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

(B709 BERRYBUSH FOREST)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2025

The Scottish Borders Council (B709 Berrybush Forest) (Temporary Closing) Order 2025 has been made under

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of  18 months, will come into force on 1 July 2025 and is expected to remain in effect until 5 August 2025, as detailed at Article 3 to this Order. The Order is required for roadside tree felling.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B709 at Berrybush Forest on the dates and at the times specified:

(a)  Phase 1 – from 1 July to 8th July 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 each day; and (b)  Phase 2 – from 22 July to 5 August 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 each day.

The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the B709, B7009, B7039, A708 and B709 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

(B6362 LAUDER ROAD, STOW)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2025

The Scottish Borders Council (B6362 Lauder Road, Stow) (Temporary Closing) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of  18 months, will come into force on 3 July 2025 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 09:00 and 21:00. The Order is required for Scottish Water works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B6362 at Number 20 Lauder Road, Stow.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the B6362, A7, A6091, A68 and B6362 to the point of closure,  for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
