What is happening?
North Yorkshire Council, Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians, Cyclists
& Horse Traffic, Public Bridleway 15.91/6/2 & 15.55/73/3 Darley With
Menwith & Hartwith Cum Winsley, Order 2025 No. 229 We have made this
Order to prohibit any pedestrian, cyclist or person riding or leading a horse
from using the Public Bridleway 15.91/6/2 & 15.55/73/3 in the Parish of Darley
with Menwith & Hartwith cum Winsley between grid reference SE21155970 to
SE21185972 for a temporary period of 6 months (subject to access to
premises) between 28/06/25 & 06/12/25, due to an unsafe bridge. This Order
follows Emergency Notice No 95. The closure period will be indicated by traffic

Temporary Prohibition of Parking, Otley Road, Harrogate, Order 2025 No
232 We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from parking on Otley
Road, Harrogate due to enable Balfour Beatty to install ducting as part of a
major scheme. It is envisaged that the restriction will be in force from 14/07/25
until 15/08/25 inclusive, however the max duration of this Order will be for 40

40 Mph Speed Limit, Various Roads, Burnt Yates, Order 2025 Notice is
hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order
under Sections 84(1) & (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of
Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor
vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 40 mph on any length of road
specified in Schedule 1 below & the speed limits in the Order described in
Schedule 2 below are revoked as detailed:- Schedule 1 - 40 Mph Speed
Limit B6165, Burnt Yates, from a point 394.5 metres West of its intersection
point with the centre line of Pye Lane (C263) to a point 242.8 metres East of
intersection point with the centre line of Pye Lane (C263), measured along the
Northern channel line of the B6165. Pye Lane (C263), Burnt Yates, from its
junction with the B6165 to a point 278.2 metres North of its intersection point
with the Northern channel line of the B6165, measured along the centre line of
Pye Lane. Clint Bank (C263), Burnt Yates, from its junction with the B6165 to a
point 191.5 metres South of its intersection point with the Southern channel
line of the B6165, measured along the centre line of Clint Bank. Schedule 2 –

(20mph, 30mph & 50mph Speed Limits) Order 2019 - In so far as it relates to
item 1, Schedule Part 3 (50 mph Speed Limit), - In so far as it relates to item 2,

Temporary 30 MPH Speed Restriction, Apron Lane, Burton Leonard,
Order 2025 No. 236 We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from
proceeding in excess of 30 mph along Apron Lane, Burton Leonard for a
temporary period between 13/07/25 & 13/07/25, due to Ripon triathlon -
Cycling Event. The restriction will be put into effect by notices & signs. All

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Cana Lane, Marton Le Moor, Order
2025, No. 237 We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using
Cana Lane, Marton Le Moor for a temporary period (subject to access to
premises) between 14/07/25 & 01/08/25, due to Install new 200mm UPVC
Water Main works. However, the max duration of this Order is until 15/09/25.
The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route
