Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 –
Various Roads-Manhole Cleaning & Maintenance Schedule, Peterborough   Ref: 26-068

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the roads detailed in the schedule below:

The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above roads. The alternative routes for vehicles affected by this order are detailed in the above schedule. The proposed order will come into force on the 03/07/2025 and will continue until the manhole cleaning and maintenance works have been completed or until the 02/07/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place from the 03/07/2025 to the 04/07/2025.

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 –
Glinton Road and West Street, Helpston, Peterborough                                 Ref: 26-044
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the roads known as Glinton Road and West Street, Helpston as lies between King Street and A15. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: King Street, Stamford Road, Helpston, Stamford Road, Marholm, Walton Road, Mowbray Road, Bretton Way, A47 Soke Parkway, A15 Lincoln Road, Werrington Parkway, Glinton Bypass, Helpston Road, Glinton, Helpston Road, Etton and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 30/06/2025 and will continue until the replacement and new water supply works have been completed or until the 29/06/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between 18:00hrs and 06:00hrs from the 30/06/2025 to the 04/07/2025.

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025
– Splash Lane, Castor                                                                                          Ref: 26-065
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Splash Lane, Castor, as lies approximately 200m from Peterborough Road. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: none available. The proposed order will come into force on the 01/07/2025 and will continue until the meter exchange works have been completed or until the 30/06/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place on the 01/07/2025 between 09:00 and 17:00.

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 –
Tallington Road, Bainton                                                                                    Ref: 26-061
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Tallington Road, Bainton as lies between points 20 metres either side of Bainton Village Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: via Tallington Road, B1443 Helpston Rd, King St, West St, Glinton Rd, Helpston Rd, A15, A1175 Stamford Rd and vice versa.The proposed Order will come into force on the 29/06/2025 and will continue until the railway level crossing maintenance works have been completed or until the 28/06/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between 23:00 and 06:00 from the 29/06/2025 to the 30/06/2025.

Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough intends in not less than seven days to make an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984:

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order – Borthwick Park
Footpath, Orton, Peterborough – 2025                                                            Ref: 26-069
The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath/cycle path known as Borthwick Park Footpath, Orton as lies between 5 and 9. The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath/cycle path. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this order will be signed locally on site. The proposed Order will come into operation on the 05/07/2025 and will continue until the installation of telecommunication cabinet works have been completed or until the 04/01/2026, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be carried out between 09:00hrs and 13:00hrs on the 05/07/2025 only.

This Order shall come into operation on the 29th June 2025 and shall be valid between 10:00hrs to 14:00hrs on the 29th June 2025 only. This Order is made at the request of the Peterborough Palestine Solidarity Campaign Executive and is for the purpose of the march and event only. The Council is satisfied that the lengths of road that are the subject of this Order are liable to be obstructed during the march and event between the above times only.
