Swinley Road, Temporary Prohibition Of Driving Due To Sewer Works

BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL

(B3017 SWINLEY ROAD, ASCOT) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from travelling along:

a) Swinley Road, Ascot in both directions between the junctions of Westwood Grove and A329 London Road.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via: A332 Kings Ride, A329 London Road and this route reversed.

The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while APH Groundwork Solutions LTD undertaken a new foul sewer connection. The proposed Order will come into operation on the 07th July 2025, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place between 07th July 2025 - 16th July 2025. This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
