TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD
TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991


NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council intend, not less than
seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to be executed on or
near the roads and the effect will be to prohibit any vehicle from entering, proceeding
or waiting in those lengths of Braithwaite Lane/ Top Lane and Low Lane at
Braithwaite in the City of Doncaster District as described in the Schedule to this
notice on the dates and times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the workforce whilst
provision of both specialist carriageway spray injection patching and inlaid
carriageway patching works to are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is
as described in the Schedule to this notice.
Any vehicle that is in contravention of the waiting restriction imposed by this Order
may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles
Regulations 1986. Any contravention of the prohibitions or restrictions imposed by
this Order may result in a Penalty Charge Notice being issued and the subsequent
removal of a vehicle.

The Proposed Order will continue in force up to and including the 17th day of August
2025 or until the works which it is proposed to carry out in or near the said roads
have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
SCHEDULE
Location
1) Braithwaite Lane, Braithwaite from its junction with Top Lane to its junction with
Kirkhouse Green Road.
2) Top Lane, Kirk Bramwith from its junction with Lodge Lane to its junction with
Braithwaite Lane.
3) Low Lane, South Bramwith from its junction with Bramwith Lane to its junction with
Top Lane.
4) Low Lane, Braithwaite from its junction with Top Lane to its junction with Willow
Bridge Lane.
Dates and Times
On or after 07:00hrs 7th July 2025 until 19:00hrs 17th August 2025.
The roads will be closed on up to 5 separate occasions, with each occasion lasting
no longer than 5 consecutive days. Works may occur on a weekend. Only one road
to be closed at any one time. This process is weather dependant and as such exact
dates for each location cannot be given.
Diversion Routes
1) Top Lane, Lodge Lane from Junction Jack Row Lane to Top Lane, Lodge Lane,
Kirkhouse Green Road and vice versa.
2) Lodge Lane, Kirkhouse Green Lane, Braithwaite Lane and vice versa.
3) Bramwith Lane, Hall Lane, Doncaster Road, Field Road, Fishlake Nab, Woodhouse
Green Road, Lodge Lane, Top Lane and vice versa.
4) Braithwaite Lane from Low Lane to Junction of Top Lane, Top Lane and vice
versa.
