What is happening?

FOOTPATH CLOSURE EXTENSION
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.165 ECKINGTON
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by Derbyshire County Council on 19th December 2024 under Section 14 of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which was to close Eckington footpath No.165 for the whole length, has been further continued.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From the Eastern end of the closure travel North and take bridleway No.119. At footpath No.129 travel South to meet Greenhall Road. Vice versa from the West.
The public footpath will be closed until 31st December 2025 or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner, to facilitate public safety during construction works.
