U6114 BENNETTS WALK MORPETH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6114 Bennetts Walk Morpeth for a distance of 14 metres either side of the level crossing in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st July 2025 until the 2nd July 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from 23:00 hours on the 1st July 2025 until 06:00 hours on the 2nd July 2025 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 2nd July 2025.

The closure has been requested by Chevron TM on behalf of Network Rail to lift out level crossing to allow S&C Tamper to work through the area. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
