What is happening?

SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL (STOPPING RESTRICTIONS, WAITING
RESTRICTIONS, LOADING RESTRICTIONS & PARKING PLACES) (MAP SCHEDULE) ORDER 2024 (AMENDMENT NO.17) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 26 June 2025 the Sheffield City Council made the above Orders which come into operation on 30 June 2025 under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order will be to introduce:

No Waiting Monday to Friday 09.00 to 17.30 on part of London Road
No Waiting Fridays 06:00 to 18:00 on part of Glover Road
Loading Bay at all times on part of Staveley Road

And remove:

No Waiting At Any Time on parts of Glover Road, London Road and Staveley Road
No Loading At Any Time on parts of Glover Road and Staveley Road
No Loading Monday to Friday 07:30-09:30 and 16:00-18:30 on part of London Road

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the enabling Act or that a requirement of the enabling Act or any of the relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within six weeks of 30 June 2025 make application for that purpose to the High Court.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Sheffield City Council proposes to make an Order under the provisions of Sections 1, 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 46A, 49, 51, 53 and 124(1)(c), (d) (f) and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order will be to introduce:

No waiting at any time on part of High Street
No loading at any time on part of High Street
Loading Place at all times on part of High Street

And remove
No waiting at any time on part of High Street
No loading at any time on part of High Street
Loading Place at all times on part of High Street
